Kendlinger’s K&K Opera Choir was founded in 2003 by Matthias Georg Kendlinger in collaboration with the Halytskyy Chamber Choir from Lviv. The artistic direction is led by the internationally renowned choir master Vasyl Yatsyniak, who honed his craft under the tutelage of the esteemed choral specialist Vladimir Minin.
The musical level of this vocal ensemble is exceptional: Many of the up to 50 singers have undergone soloist training. Tours, opera festivals, and competitions have taken the Ukrainians to France, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Austria, and Germany, including an invitation from Pope John Paul II to the Vatican in 1991.
